Grapevines climb up both sides of this Ketubah text framed by a floral border. They weave around the poles of a Chuppah created out of a honeycomb with active bees. The Jerusalem image with the Lions of Judah in the top center oval, has their Hebrew names in gold ink on either side. “Ani L’Dodi V’Dodi Li” / “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine” is at the base above the grapevine ‘roots’. This is an original Ketubah, painted with Bombay I This is an original Ketubah, painted with Bombay India inks and highlighted with both White Pearl acrylic and Metallic Gold ink. It features the Boston Museum of Fine Arts Zen Garden, where the groom proposed; as well as the state flowers of Massachusetts (Trailing Arbutus), New York (Rose), and Ohio (Carnation), representing the cities where the couple now lives as well as where they were each from originally. Above the text, is a Tallit as their Chuppah, with a quote from the Sheva Brachot above that, and their Hebrew names in the corners.
