This is an original Papercut Ketubah.
Metallic gold and silver inks were painted onto an illustration board, and gradually blended into one another as they merged at the center. The Hebrew / Aramaic text was hand lettered onto an ivory sheet of mi-tientes paper. Roses and peonies and their leaves, were cut into this paper, and it was placed as a top layer with the ombré gold and silver showing through.
“Ani L’Dodi V’Dodi Li” (I am My Beloved’s and My Beloved is Mine) was cut into the paper in Hebrew lettering at the bottom.
This piece is for display only.
